You've got a badass new 2012 X45, now you need some awesome surf boards to go with it! :)

TheWoons can you shoot me a price on a Red Rocket? Need to ship to AZ unless you know someone in AZ that I can pick one up cheaper than $699.00.

Sorry to threadjack, but a question for you, Woons. I've recently got a IS Blue Lake. Beautiful board. But I was totally bummed to see it was too thick to fit in the forks on the MC racks. It's a big board so takes up a lot of room in the boat, plus don't want it banging around. Any suggestions on how to store?

I have the blue lake and it fits snug in my 08 tower racks. Won't clamp down but stays put.

Mine fit in my racks on my 07 X2. My board is about 5 years old so maybe they started making them thicker or something but it's never been a problem for me. Here's a couple pictures from my 03 X2 in the clamp style factory racks.......

Found a close up of the rack fingers.....

Well, that's odd. I don't know if the board is thicker this year or forks are narrower. I think the IS website said the thickness is 1.75". Anyone know the opening size on the forks?

I'm also wondering if the 1.75" includes the surface pad. It's pretty thick.
