Hi

Just picked this ski up off Kijiji to ride till my I get my ski back at the end of the season.

Wondering what year it is and can't seem to find anything online to tell me. Thought maybe one of you guys could help me out. Thoughts?

People here will identify a MasterCraft boat picture to the year make model and often the engine from a picture of that quality if you shoot a. boat. I think however, you may be looking for the Connelly Skis forums. Good looking ski though. Why are you missing your ski for the season?

unfortunatly I haven't come accross a connelly ski forum yet.......guess I know what I am going to spend my night looking for.......lol

I finally picked up "my" very own 92 Prostar 190 a month a go.

Unfortunatly all my gear is at my family cottege on the other side of the country. I am not making it out to the cottege this year so no gear till my Mother comes back accross the country with it at the end of August.

I currently ski a 2003 Connelly F2 and am curious how this is going to compare. Also curious on how good a deal I got on this ski.

I knew someone would know, Thanks!!

So now as I am just in dream world as there is still ice on the lakes here how will it compare to my
2003 F2?

Congrats on the purchase. I believe the F2 is basically the F1 made a little friendlier for the rest of us. This will be more of an intermediate ski compared to the advanced ski you were riding if I am correct. I never rode an F2 but have tried out an F1X, which I think would fall in between. Nice ski. Have you considered shipping the ski? It's usually not as pricey as you might think.

College Kid 05-03-2012 02:54 AM

I had thought about shipping but no one is at the cottege till mid july to send it out to me, and I just don't think I could wait that long. lol

If there wasn't still solid ice accross the lakes and I would be trying it out this weekend.

I currently ride an F1 which was certainly the ski to have back then. It's an awesome ski to ride in the course or when working it hard. Previous to that I had a concept and it is the best all round ski that I owned and miss it dearly. I rode it into the ground and wish I still had it for those times when you want to have a relaxing free ski but could cope with being pushed a little harder. A very forgiving ski. enjoy.
