speaker can adapters
Can you buy adapters so you can fit other brand speaker cans to the mounting points on a mastercraft tower, or do you have to use mastercraft speaker cans.
thanks |
I know Exile sells a mount for their speakers so you can bolt them right to the 07+ towers.

thanks mate . i did a bit of a search on here and it looks like mc sell the adapters ,but they don't have them on their site , and may be expensive. will check out the exile ones

A Bullet HollowPoint 770NEO 7.7" HLCD will mount right up to the 07 & up tower pads with the existing flange and no need for an adapter. These are in really nice domestic spun aluminum pods.
Exile has an adapter that will facilitate their own speakers which includes a 6.5" surf coaxial, 6.5" HLCD and an 8" HLCD. Wetsounds has an adapter that will facilitate their own speakers which includes an 8" surf coaxial, 8" HLCD and 10" HLCD. Either the Exile or Wetsounds will provide a swivel mount that quick-disconnects. There's seven speaker choices. David Earmark Marine |
Is there a swivel mount avail for existing JL cans?

swivel slarification
David, just to clarify from the above posts, Exile and Wetsounds both have MC mounts that swivel and quick connect, but JL and Bullet have MC mounts that do NOT swivel or disconnect. Am I correct?

A Bullet HollowPoint allows the speaker to rotate in its own pod mounting to adjust for any tower arc so that all speaker grill patterns correspond to ground level. David |
