I will try to find an in water shot, but my li'l man is about to turn 4. He loves the water !!! He is close to staying up on the board, hopefully before the end of summer he will be riding.

Thanks. That board is a Liquid Force Nemesis 118 with LF Micro bindings. Smallest set up they make.

BP - that's awesome ... my two year old is just getting to where she will float by herself, definitely will have to post some pics when you get him up on skis!

looks like he is waiting to get you in that tube so he can pull you around the lake;) It is awesome to see young kids out doing watersports. Congrats man, kids are the best (aside from all the apple juice, cherrios, crackers, and cheese sitting beneath the seats smashed into the carpet.)

Stevo Jr. a couple of weeks ago. (He's 14)
First time up on slalom.
Got it "on edge" the first time and he keeps the handle low!
He started taking some aggressive cuts last weekend.
Really surprised me.

Good Job Stevo - find that kid some glass;) Won't be long and he will be pulling hard and asking for a shortline. Congrats.

Milk - We bought a 121 Hydroslide from Sports Authority with bindings for $75.00. The bindings aren't the greatest but they are lace-ups and work fine. We went back and forth about what board to get for the girls to learn on. In the end we decided on the Hydroslide because for the amount of time it will be used before they outgrow it the price was right.

Here is a picture of my 8 year old daughter getting up on the board. :)

Here is my oldest daughter on the ski skimmer. She was nine when this one was taken. :)

That's what CA looks like in the summer, we don't get the thunderstorms here to keep it green. But hey, we don't get the thunderstorms here.

X2, Great shots. I have been looking at the hydroslide for my 7 YO daughter. Looks like a great board to learn on and the price is right. I told her she has to be very confortable on ski's before she gets a board. Call me old school.

I'm between Wright City and Broken Bow. Broken Bow lake is all so far.

My kids have only skiied this year (and tubed). I've been pretty lazy with the camera, one shot of Heather at the beginning of the year. She is asking to try one ski, but I want her to be very comfortable on two and able to lift one ski. It'll be a happy day if she makes it up on one before year end!

My little guy ~ Spencer ~ 2 and a half. Pretty good form and balance for his age. I'm holding off for another year or two before he gets to go. His constant requests to "Ski Daddy, Ski?" or "Bakeboard Daddy? Mencer Do it Daddy?" are getting hard to say no to. I tried pulling him in the pool, he just doesn't have the strength to manage the gear.

He has a great time on his tube with Mom. Garage sale $5 - that's how all tubes should be priced. He's already used to going behind the boat. Can't wait to try the boom when he's ready.

Yep, that is Northern California in the summer. Hot and dry. The first picture was taken in July at Lake Don Pedro and the second picture was taken last July at New Malones Res. The two are about 20 miles apart up in the "gold country" of NorCal. Humidity up there is next to nothing in the summer.



We gave in without a fight about the wakeboard this summer. If they want to get behind the boat and do something other than tube, I don't really care if it is wakeboarding or skiing. As long as they do it. I know my oldest can get up on the doubles, she is just scared. I don't know how to get around that. Bribery is not working.

for the longest time she'd only do the kneeboard, now she's asking about when she can ride the 60" slalom ski :banana:

Here's Brianna on her beloved kneeboard. She won't try skis but will stand up on the kneeboard and do 360s. :confused:
