Stevo Jr. a couple of weeks ago. (He's 14)
First time up on slalom. Got it "on edge" the first time and he keeps the handle low! He started taking some aggressive cuts last weekend. Really surprised me. |
Good Job Stevo - find that kid some glass;) Won't be long and he will be pulling hard and asking for a shortline. Congrats.

Milk - We bought a 121 Hydroslide from Sports Authority with bindings for $75.00. The bindings aren't the greatest but they are lace-ups and work fine. We went back and forth about what board to get for the girls to learn on. In the end we decided on the Hydroslide because for the amount of time it will be used before they outgrow it the price was right.
Here is a picture of my 8 year old daughter getting up on the board. :) |

I was thinking the same thing about amout of time the board will be used.... at this point also, it'll probably be a next season purchase....early next season boy, that grass/brush in the background sure looks dry:( |

That's what CA looks like in the summer, we don't get the thunderstorms here to keep it green. But hey, we don't get the thunderstorms here. |
X2, Great shots. I have been looking at the hydroslide for my 7 YO daughter. Looks like a great board to learn on and the price is right. I told her she has to be very confortable on ski's before she gets a board. Call me old school.
