Looking for Tandem axle trailer for x-9

Hello everyone. I'm new here but I figured if anyone has answers, it would be you.
I have an '02 X-9 with the original single axle trailer. I can't take it long distances because I just feel like it's too much weight. The trailer bounces a lot. I've taken it on a trip one time, about 2 1/2 hours into the trip it popped a tire and busted the axle. After a not so quick fix, I just decided it's cheaper to not tow it around much.

I've looked briefly online for a tandem axle with not a whole lot of luck. I'm not finding anywhere that has much of a market. My question is, where is the best place to look for trailers for said problem.

I appreciate any help.

Thanks

Alex

Also just a thought that maybe someone else can chime in on but I'm using an 06 xstar tandem trailer for my 209. Fits like a glove

Rambo Marine in Alabama always has trailers listed. Or you could add the second axle to your current trailer. It will take a little fabricating and new fenders, but it can be done.

Welcome! I would suspect there must be a reason your trailer was bouncing so much.
Excess tire pressure? Stiff springs? Maybe fabricate some shock mounts and add shocks? Boat not balanced properly on the trailer?

In the meantime, your screen name had me wondering.

I have a 2003 prostar 209 with a single axel trailer and it does not bounce at all. Is the boat trailer level when attached to your tow vehicle? What are you towing with? Do the tires have flat spots on them?

My x9 doesn't bounce around either. It does without the boat on the trailer though.
