is the open bow built in ballast that much more important to you? You could put a ND tower on your 190 and have the best slalom boat with more function?

Doospx...i Ran Into A Guy With One And Pulled Him Over And Talked To Him About It, Sat In It, And Then I Guess The Bug Bit Me! I Should Have Never Looked At That Boat! Just The More Room, The Ballast, The Tower, The Newer Model, Etc. Had Me Hooked.
I HaVe Looked At Hundreds Of Boats And The Lines Of The Newer 197's And X7's Have Me Hooked! That Is An Awesome Looking Boat!

Just go with a 197 with a mini tower.:D

X2. The full towers on the 197/X-7's don't flow right, still very nice boats. Ballast is easily added and the OEM ballast on the X-7's consisted of a bag and a pump... nothing more.

The mini tower looks real good.

Dang it you guys! Quit posting pics of my ideal boat that I can't afford! OK, keep posting them so I can keep dreaming. That black & red TT with the mini tower & bimini would be just about perfect, as long as it came with a "boat cleaning butler" to keep the waterspots off :)

I do think that the 2007 mini tower follows the lines of the boat better compared to the 2008. I also believe the blind spot on the 2007 is not as bad as the 2008.
