New X15
 

So a new X15 in the Midwest retails for 100k. I have an 03 ProStar 209 SD. They offered 50k and my boat to get into the 2011. What is the usual out the door price vs retail? I know another dealer has an X Star for 130k, but a salesman said it'll probably go in the 90s.

That sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Must be alot less than $100,000 cause I dont think an '03 209 is worth anywhere near $50,000.

Yeah, average retail on the 209 SD looks to be $25k so they are offering to sell the boat for $75k.

So are new ones go for 75% of retail if I had no trade based on my example? Anyone purchased one without trade? What percentage of retail did you pay?

That sounds about right to me. When I purchased my used X15 from my dealer in March he tried to get me to buy a 2011 X15 because with longer financing the payment was close to the same. I however wanted less total debt, but to my point, I don't remember the exact amount but the 2011 final purchase price was in the mid to low 70's. Sticker was around 100K.

Bought mine new in 03/11 paid $68,000 out the door with the trailer. Sould be some deals on 2011 since the 2012's are coming.

The difference between $68 and $75 could be some options, power tower, speakers, lights, tabs, heater, shower... even motors.

I guess you'd need to compare options at this point.

I think it's safe to say you're paying 25% under MSRP and getting $25K for your trade. Doesn't seem too bad to me. Not sure how your tax law is in your state, but here in NJ you would only be paying sales tax on the $50K.

You guys are great, turns out it's a demo. Numbers don't match. Gonna sit on the ProStar. Appreciate the help!
