prostar 190/197 prop????
 

I recently bought a 2001 Prostar 190 EVO. It has the MX LTR 330 HP motor and a 1-1.5 transmission. It did not come with the original prop. I put an old (but mint) 14 18 3 blade. The owners manual says the original prop was a 14 18 4 blade. I'm only getting 43 mph at almost 5100 rpm. And it's a pig out of the water. Anyone know if the 4 blade will make that much of a difference? Anyone with the same setup (but original prop) that could tell me what your top speed is that would be great. Or if anyone has tried out a different prop with better results. I need to know if i should invest in a new prop. thanks...

Call or email Eric from OJ Props, tell him what you have and what you want from the boat and he will send you a prop to try, if you like it- keep it and pay him, if not send it back- no money of any kind. His Customer Service is TOP NOTCH!!
