Which Boat To Buy
I would like to buy a MasterCraft, but don't know which boat to get. I need one with a big wakeboarding wake, but can be turned down for slaloming. Any suggestions?

I think a lot of this all depends on how serious you take your skiing vs wakeboarding. IMHO the X-7 would be a good crossover and have heard the X-2's have a decent ski wake as well. Another factor to look at is how much you are willing to spend on a boat as well.

If you want an older boat, the 96--2000 205 is the original X-Star hull in a AWSA tournament approved package.

Agree with both of the above. If you want a pretty versatile boat the X2 is solid and I will be listing my 2006 in the next few days. Its the first year for the picklefork in the X2.
Sorry, shameless plug. |
early Xstar/205/X1

X14 V? I believe it was designed to be a good crossover.

+1 on the early X-star. My '02 works well for both.
