Little Heat from Heater during idle
 

I've seen this issue on an old thread but not sure where. During idle I have less heat coming from my system. Obviously this makes sense, but what are you guys doing to fix this? Heatercraft recommended this Y-Fitting...

Added the fitting last year. HUGE difference. There are instructions that come with it...pretty easy stuff.

What??? Where does this go and how does it make the heater warmer at idle??? I have the factory heater install, '09 X2.

Pictures on where it goes??? Anyone, I mean it looks pretty simple if it really improves the heat output:D

Just installed this on my boat. Haven't had a chance to get out yet, so don't know how it works yet. Might have been the simplest part of the whole install

Use the "search" function on this site for "Y-Fitting"; you will find a few threads that explain the Y-fitting function and location.

I installed the heatercraft heater in our boat and sure enough, not too hot. I have read the threads here and ordered the y fitting. Can someone post a picture of the install. thx
