Picked up the 83 S&S with the 440 chrysler...

Guy I got it from bought it in 1985!!
Any way he gave me a 3 ring binder that says mastercraft on the front & spine with a bunch of MC stuff in it. Original owners manual, engine manual, new kneeboard anouncement, warranty disclaimer on leaving the boat in the water etc

I have never seen one before or even heard one mentioned. Any body else got one of these? How about with the 440 engine? this one has all the specs & info on ford & chevy but no chrysler.

I have one of these manuals you are talking about, unfortunatly no Chrysler 440 specs...just Fords and up to the 460 Chevy. Still a good old owners and maintanience manual though

I have an '83 with a 351. From what I understand, they put different power plants in the boats, including the Chrysler. My guess (and I'm hoping someone can chime in with more facts) is that when they became short on engines, they filled the boats with the Chryslers.

With a 440, that things gotta go like a bat otta h3ll. Definitely a rare find. Post pics when you have them.

I've seen someone around here with a 440 Chrysler in the old S&S. I think it was up for sale a while ago. Don't know how many were made with it, but I assume not many. Congrats on your acquisition, and like the others said, please post pics!

Thanks guys. I will get some pics soon as I get it cleaned up. It was really dirty, been sitting for years getting the motor replaced. Jim it still has an emblem on the drivers window that says powerslot. It is identical to the white & blue one that is/was for sale.
I am a mopar fan is the reason I wanted it, cant wait to get it in the water & feel the pull

I also have one of the old owners manuals. From what I can tell, they didn't make an owners manual in 1990 for the Maristar 210, only for the 240. They didn't start putting out anything for the 210 until 1991. So, I have to go off the 1991-93 manual for specs, which show things a little different than what the '90 actually is (i.e. no speedo pickup by the raw water intake, but on the stern with dual pitots, no companion way storage in the bow, different dash layaout, etc).
