I've got the teak platform now, but this would look good with my color scheme.

How "non-skid" is this type of platform?

thanks in advance for the advice.

Sporty, tell us about it.

dwvktm450 02-07-2006 03:07 PM

It is an 82 according to the HIN. It has the rounded winshield, and different guage cluster. I does have the same engine cover as my 83.

If I could find a new platform like this...I would buy it as a spare if nothing else. I love my teak...but hate dealing with it all the time.

Anyone have a spare/takeoff fiberglass platform for a newer model 197?

A 82 without the Deluxe package that included the squared windshield and seperate instrument pod. I believe the deluxe package became standard in 83.

JEREMY79 02-07-2006 08:31 PM

Not an 84. didnt the square windshield start in late 82? It is an 82 by the HIN
