Where to buy OEM cover?

What's the best spot to buy a OEM cover for a 2008 X2? Or is there a better option than OEM?

skiboatcovers.com Get a Sunbrella fabric waterline cover and never look back.

Coversports or evolution covers will be what I replace my oem cover with. I think coversports had a slightly better price if I am remembering correctly. Both are basically the same style of cover and come highly recommended on TT.

OEM would have to come from a dealer. www.skiboatcovers.com for the best aftermarket

I am also looking for a new cover for my 08 X2. I haven't decided yet. I really like the ratchet strap on the oem cover. Evolution covers told me they do not have a pattern for my x2. I think they were swamped back in July when I contacted them. Skiboatcovers doesn't seem to use the ratchet strap?

Let me know what you decide to do.

Just finished my 7th season on my skiboatcovers.com cover. Went top off the line with Sunbrella and the upgraded thread. It's still in very good shape. I had them add the transom/swim platform extension which really helped this year keep the transom for getting faded as well as keeping my platform looking like the day I refinished it in the spring.

If/when this one gives up I'll be buying another from them.

Are you wanting it for towing or storage?

I love my waterline cover from skiboatcovers. This is an awesome cover for storage in the driveway. Pole system is better than mastercrafts and water runs off it real well. My whole boat, including swimdeck is out of the sun. My tower is even covered from the sun, as I had covers built to fit the tower by a local person.

I also have a Mastercraft cover which is good for going down the highway. Better for long hauls, trips to Lake Powell etc , but not to keep sun off of the boat. Most of the year it is not used. Just some thoughts

I'm looking mainly for towing. It stays in the garage, but we take 6 trips a year to Powell. With all the gear we haul in it, plus the weather, I need it covered while towing. I'm down in lake Powell now, it tore to shreds on the way down as I had 40+ mph head winds. I'm towing it back to salt lake today and the forecast is looking like nasty rain snow mix over highway 6. My poor coverless boat.

Evolution cover. Hands down.....

Don't get in a hurry.....great covers, slow turnout. Plenty of write ups here about the cover....
