1989 PS 190 Restoration
I have been motivated by so many on this site. I have decided to restore my 1989 PS 190. My project is not as involved as some but I have learned so much from this site. I hope you enjoy the photos.
The first task was to work on the exterior finish. The boat had a lot of scratches and the paint was faded after years of enjoyment. Before: http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...n/original.jpg http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...on/image4.jpeg Here is when we removed the graphics and began the wet sanding: http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...ion/image.jpeg http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...on/image6.jpeg I purchased a new set of decals from Jim at BAWS and had them applied:http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...on/image7.jpeg http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...n/image10.jpeg http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...on/image9.jpeg Next up we took the boat to Viper for the interior works. More photos to come. Thanks for the advice everyone! |
Nice.
Like your SS flanges too. Looks like they could use some love too. |
Whats the actual color of that boat? it kinda looks a little pink. Especially when compared to the decal on the back of the transom.

According to Jim at BAWS the color is called mauve. It is kind of a dusty pink. The real question is am I permitted to keep my man card if I have a pink boat?
|
Looking good! I see your first pic is at Sterling marine. Where do you ski?
|
I ski at newton lake just outside of Carbondale PA.
|
Is your boat at viper now? I dropped mine off there a week ago.
