I'm a minimalist. We took the boat as is and are pleased. You may want to upgrade the motor to the 225 if you want the strong pull when fully loaded with people and ballast water. My last one was an inboard and they both seem to have about the same power, but the Global will haul a lot more folks, which sucks up some of the torque.

My old inboard could rip the handle out of a pretty decent skiers hands if I told it to, where as the global does not. Are you sure your driver isn't pulling you up too fast?

Hi Travis, Thanks for your response. I'm new to this forum so bear with me. what options should I definitely have on the boat in your opinion and experience with the boat?
Im going to demo one locally to see if it pulls a heavy skier out of the whole easier than my current inboard which has too much drag for me. I have always skied behind an outboard and they seem to get me out where an inboard/wake boat I cant hold on. Im hoping the Global edition will do the trick.

Hi Travis, im looking to buy a Global edition in australia but cannot find anyone who has one which is surprising as i love the concept of this boat. This is your boat in the image im guessing. Is the wake good for skiing? And does it have much of a rise on take off with a skier?
