Replaced my fuel pump this weekend. Not easy to do but can be done without replacing the entire module. The top of my module said Carter 71-341S thru a friend in the parts industry I was able to cross reference it with a Delphi FE 0105-11B1 and it is almost identical to the old one. It works fine and no problems. As mentioned before in these posts the fuel line between the pump and the regulator could be too long. However a good friend that is a teaching mechanic seems to think that this loop would help to eliminate any pump knock that a straight line could cause. The fuel line was probably pliable when new but after being immersed in fuel for a time could have become less pliable. Looking for a source for the fuel line will post when I find it.
