    hey Eric, need some prop advise. I have a '04 Mastercraft X2 with the Predator engine (I think, not the pretty red MCX), everything is stock as far as I can tell, bought used June 2009 with ~150 hrs, came in from out West (Nevada I think). Prop was trashed when I got boat, had rebuilt at Nettles (Austin, TX) shortly after I purchased. Time for another rebuild but not sure if repairable this go around. Just wondering what numbers should I be looking for on a new prop? currently has a 13.7x19.5 C OJ and I see from factory manual, a 14x20 was stock. We use mainly on non flow (no current) lakes in central TX. 26 y/o son semi agreesive wake boards (~22-24 mph) & surfs (9-13 mph?) both with full factory ballist, 25 y/o daughter non-aggressive wakeboards (17-20 mph), wife still loves to slalom but non-aggressive & quite a bit of low speed cruising (short stints 25-40 mph getting places when water smooth enough). Typically will have 4-8 adults on board. no perfect pass. hard to maintain a consistent speed with the more aggresive wakeboarding and often difficult to maintain surf speed that low. I believe top speed is ~47-48 mph per speedo WOT. Should I be moving to different prop size/pitch?

    Was hoping you could help me choose a prop for my boat. I have an '83 MC Superslot. It has a Chrysler 440 in it rated at 330hp, although I'm told it actually puts out something like 430hp. It also has the powerslot trans @ 1.5 to 1. My needs are a bit different that what this boat was designed for (shows/tournaments) as I'll only be pulling one skier at a time. I think this combination is capable of swinging something pretty big but don't know where to draw the line. Looking for a decent holeshot, some speed, and something that might resemble fuel economy, relatively speaking.

    borrowed a friends 13 LH 13 Michigan 3 blade prop and knew it did not feel right as soon as i throttled up. Ran 35mph@5300 rpms. Can you explain? Guess I am going to buy the 4 blade 13x14 force you recommended. How do I contact you to buy if I decide to bu?

    Can you tell me what prop (4 blade) to use on the boat? Also, estimate on repairing damaged one.

    Motor is 454 HO. Will brass sleeve bore piece slide off 1" shaft? I removed damaged prop in water on lift. Is the shaft have a standard taper if sleeve is removed?

    I am looking for a new prop and repair of damaged prop. I have a 1991 240 Maristar that Has a WOT 0f 47 mph @ 4600 rpms. The damaged prop has a serial #48-18295-13. It is LH and 1"keyed shaft. Do all shafts taper down to a smaller thread? Mine goes from 1" down to approx. a 13/16" diameter thread. Can you give me a price for a 4 blade replacement and an estimate on repairing damaged one.? Boat is used for skiing and waking and pleasure riding.

    I bought a prop from you late last year, I have a 2001 prostar 209 with the rtp-1 predator motor (310 hp). I have a 13x14 prop on there now, I can only turn 4500 rpms, at 41 mph WOT.
    Seems like I used to be able to turn 5000 rpms at achieve around 45-46 mph WOT. I don't know if it is the alignment holding me back or the prop. In the past I have had the prop reshaped by Conroe Marine, and the pitch may have been different. I have taken my boat back to Houston MC and they say the alignment it good. (hit a submerged log last year and needed new underwater gear, strut, prop, shaft.) The I can not turn 5000 rpms, so this leave me to believe I have 500 rpms left. What are your thoughts on this?

    I am hoping you can help to point me in the right direction on a prop issue.
    I have a 13.7 x 15 LC 4 blade XMP on my 2008 MC PS197 w/powerslot and while pulling someone today at 20mph I hit a submerged piece of wood that was roughly 3" in diameter. As soon as the wood hit my hull I pulled the throttle to neutral but obviously my glide carried me over it. I jumped in the water and ran my hand along every inch of the prop and amazingly there was not a ding on it, nor was there any damage to my rudder or tracking fins. However, when I accelerate, at about 18-20mph, I feel a slight vibration back through the wheel but it seems to go away above or below that speed. When I pulled the boat out of the water I visually inspected everything and again, everything looks new without so much as a scratch.
    So, my question is, could I have bent one of the blades without causing any other visual damage? If so, what do you charge to re-work this prop?
    Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Eric, I have a 1989 MasterCraft Tri-star 190 indmar 351 250 hp, just bent my original prop could you give me a good suggestion as to which i should upgrade to. normally 4-6 people onboard, we wakeboard, kneeboard and tube but also would like some decent speed. current specs 13x13lh cupped original to boat 39 mph @ 4200rpm 1:1 transmission, no ballast, usually full of fuel 25 gallons boat weight 2400 lb dry according to owners manual, Thanks for your input and quote.

    Eric, I have an 03 X-2 with the 310 hp Predator engine, the boat is new to me. It has a OJ 14 20 prop on it. When I bought the prop was just redone it seems to have good all round performance, good hole shot, top speed 42. I am looking for another prop as a spare, or the new one as my main. I didn't see that size on your website. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Sean
