    Thanks, I just used the same parts the other guys used, the only major difference was using a cutting board from Walmart ($2) for the "gate." I used nylon spacers from Lowes to adjust the angle. I wanted a 1" spacer, but had to settle on stacking 2 1/2" spacers. I haven't tested it yet, but I will report back here and in the sucgate thread when I do. If you have any other questions, let me know. All I did one copy what others have done, with modifications necessitated by my lack of materials...

    Hello-I'm hoping to make a carbon copy of the Harbor Freight gate that you made. If you don't mind my asking, what did you use as spacers to change the angle? You've made the sharpest looking one yet. Have a chance to check it out on the water? Thanks, Steve
