Thanks, I was having a friend remake my black surround for the gauges and while that was being done I wanted to keep using the boat. So, I made a flat aluminum panel with 6 - 2 1/4 hole to mount my Volts, Hour meter, oil pressure, water temp, oil, temp, and 1 blank. all are in the engine compartment to the right of my alternator so i can lift the cover check the gauges and start. I have a Low oil pressure light in the dash and a High water temp light in the dash.
I have a tach with an over rev light/ shift light if i run it to high. and my speedometers were both sun damaged and bad. I left all the stock Items if I want to return it to original. I am purchasing a small fish finder with speed and temp or GPS with temp. I will take a picture and post it. some people think Im crazy because I'm not looking at my gauges all the time, But i have had Volkswagen's and motorcycles my whole life and they all have warning lights. Low pressure/temp warning lights that flash have saved engines for me before.
