68-70 Depending on where we were. At the spot, the H2O temp in 3 feet of water was 70, but it sure felt colder than that when you put your feet onthe bottom.

Hey lake houston is closed to me, no boat ramps are deep enough for me, the river is all but dried up and we went to deussen park on the fourth and scraped the prop loading her back up. How is Conroe? where do you usually boat?

I have a spot in Matagorda County for shooting deer, dove, quail, hogs and anything else that moves

Sad part is the best duck/goose hunting is leased out and they drive the huge flock of geese to roost on the National Wildlife Refuge every year from over hunting in Between our two big pieces of property.
When I was growing up the sky would literally turn dark with all the geese getting off the roost. And they sounded like a jet engine when taking off, incredible. Don't happen anymore, not that much rice being harvested down there now a days.

My buddy has a all weld legend craft with a mud buddy motor on it that we use for duck hunting.

Oldest boy's basketball commitments will really limit the lake time this year.
