you made mention of an ECM unit in a post some time ago... Do you know how much they cost? My dealer is telling me my is bad and wants $1600. I have a 2003 Pro star 197 with black motor not red.. ouch!!!!

Hi Double D-I'm new to the forum , and note you have the same boat I am considering purchasing this weekend, but mine would be a '93 with carbureted 351 ford. Wondering abut difference in wake size between the open bow and closed bow, as I see the 205 weighs 100 lbs more, and of course is longer, and was the hull first used for a wakeboard boat I think.
Any info you could provide would help with my decision as to 87 prostar closed, and 93 open bow I'm trying for lowest wake possible, but do like the ability to relax with friends while idling around that the open bow gives. thakns
