Any thoughts on year, trying to keep the cost down below 15k. I understad the newer models are fuel injected. Does it matter that much if you have an older model with a carb vs. the newer FI models?

That pretty much sums it up for me. I will build a single axle. I dont travel nearly as much as you, but I still like to visit other lakes from time to time and want something easy to handle. Thanks for your imput.

Hey thanks John. I am 50/50 about going single or tandem axle for my trailer build. What is your preference? Also, what is a boat buddy? I havent heard of such a thing
