Sorry for my delay in responding, I haven't been on in a while - life is busy.
Here is what I would recommend with regard to setting up for surfing (I am also a FlyHigh dealer and can get you the sacs):
- Put as large a bag as possible in the lockers (750#) next to your engine and plumb them into the overflow of your stock ballast. This works great and doesn't take long to set up.
- Buy a Tsunami pump and get 4 more sacs
- The four additional sacs include a pair of 400# bags - one for the under-seat cooler compartment and one to go under the seat behind the driver seat.
- The final pair should be a v-drive set of 200# sacs that will go under the bow seats.
I am in the process of pluming the bow sacs to the sac in the cooler compartment. This will speed up my fill/empty times.
With a full tank of gas, stock ballast filled on the surf side, KGB filled, and your 3 additional sacs per side, you will throw an unreal wake with just the driver and rider. The more people along for the ride, the better.
Feel free to call or email with more questions. We would also be happy to build you a custom surf board.
