You seem really knowledgable about these older Mastercraft engines and I want to upgrade my '89 Indmar to get more power out of the hole.
I've read some of your older posts where you recommend going to the Eldebrock Performer intake, GT40p heads, and a Mallory electronic ignition conversion.
I was wondering what camshaft and propellor you would recommend over the stock cam and the standard OJ 13x13 prop?
Are there any other upgrades you would do if you were me to the engine?
PS - I don't want to sacrifice reliability, but I do want more horsepower!
what are the odds that placing a line of silicone above and and below the rubrail where the leak is most likely occuring will do the trick. The rub rail it self does not show any damage at all.
I didn't realize Lake Houston was so low man!!! I boat up on the north end of Conroe mostly. I run a Garmin 498C in my skiff and have channels marked all over the north end. I know where all the water is. I have a huge boat storage leased up off of Calvary road out of Willis. I keep both boats there. Less than a mile to the ramp. We need to hook up one weekend for sure. I'll show you around.
