I have a 13 inch raduis tractor grip from Straightline I am using now. It is a warranty handle from a broken handle I bought from them. I broke the other one at the end where the handle meets the rope and took a real nasty digger because of it (metal actually broke). Well, I survived that to ski another day and they replaced it. Within a few uses the vinyl sheath covering the rope from each side to the main line started cracking. I used black elec tape and shiek the balance of the season with it that way. Now early next season, the other side cracked and completely in two pieces now. I am sure the plastic is breaking from my 250 lb. ski partner handle dinging his ski when he fails to get up. Does anybody see a problem taking them off entirely, letting my "big boy" partner ski it into the ground and me getting a better handle. Is it safe w/ floppy rope side lenghts for him? What brand should I persue? I ski 22-35 off and like a tractor grip. I remember a place where a lady made custom handles, but searched "handles" and too many threads came up to look through them all. Suggestions/input please.

For some reason I cannot "Activate" any rider settings for the life of me. Here is what Im doing, let me know if im missing a step.

1. In the Quick List, I set speed to 20mph, Center trim set to 30%, All 3 ballast 100% full
2. Save the current rider and tap on "Activate"
3. Screen then jumps to the Cruise screen... nothing happening yet.. no trim or ballast being adjusted.
4. Tap on Cruise ON buttom.... Set speed of 20mph shows up in green and confirms that cruise is set and the rider name is displayed at top left corner of screen... still no change in trim or ballast. Everything is reading 0%

Now what do I do. How do I get the ballast and trim to automatically set to the saved rider setting?

BTW... this is the 2012 touch screen, Not sure of the Software Version, and I do have P&P ballast.

The boat has been on the lift for years but I'd like to now try to replicate the trailer bunk setup - or some of it. I do not like the two stringer bunks i have now to support the boat with ballast. Hoping to not have to empty the ballast all the time (sometimes we just go out for 30-45 minutes). This is a 30k lbs lift so no issues on that.

So would it be possible to get a photo or two of a 2003- to ?? trailer and the spread, ~angle, rise and run dimensions of the bunks?

and of course if anyone thinks this a crummy idea - I'd like to hear that as well.
Thanks --

Hi everyone ... working with my friend today on his new to him X2 2007.

Yesterday evening the boat would run fine but the Starboard Ballast pump stopped working. Flashed the error code that the AI module had lost contact with the pump.

Today the engine turns over and does not fire .. .almost like there was no fuel pressure or the kill switch was disconnected .... we have not tested fuel pressure yet .... funny thing is the ECU warning is flashing on his dash gauge and we have lost the fuel gauge. it does not read anything ....

He has also noticed his stereo and amp have not been right for the past 2 weeks but was not sure it was related.

Tested with another battery ... same result. Cleaned the ground at the engine by the ECM area ..... we are going to clean the battery terminals and check that out ....

proceeding to test the electrical connections here in a little while ...

My question is ... any other thoughts, places to check .... almost feels like the ECU is not working but my brain is telling me voltage drop or electrical problem.

Any one want to chime in ? Thanks in advance.

Is there a way to figure out what corrosion is "fatal" and what I dont need to worry about too much. Im thinking that a lot of the corrosion may be in areas that arent vital.

Any help is greatly appreciated, as Id like to begin assembly on this unit as soon as possible.
Thanks,
