Last time I went over there it was very crowded. (4-5yrs ago) I skiied over there a lot during the late 80's and early 90's. Do you put in on 521 (Churchill bridge IIRC) or do you have a place on the water with a dock/boat lift?
Bay City is my home town and thats where I like to ski. Low traffic and always skiable water.
My Dad still lives there and I can alway stay the night, if I choose to.

I thought so. It looked like the Colorado but it could have been the Brazos above Brazoria. I ski the San Bernard between Sweeny down towards the mouth...
