    Thanks for that. I too was having difficulty with the forum message system making sure I was getting the message to you. I did not know you replied until receiving your PM notification this morning.
    Yes the choices appear to be 1" or 1 1/4" hose. I think mine might be 1" but it is hard to tell.
    It sounds like you replaced yours with the boat off the lift. I think that is what I will do too.

    Hydrohoist hose repair question.
    I have a slow leak in one hose, probably from an animal bite. Currently patched with duct tape with the hose resting on an old inner tube up out of the water. The boat is still on the lift.
    Were you able to replace your hoses with the boat still on the lift? What was your technique for hose replacement? Did you have to chain up the lift to keep it from sinking, or were the hoses able to be rapidly changed without the lift sinking?
    Thanks. I trying to decide how I am going to go about doing this.
    Also any advice and specifics on the pvc armoring of the hoses?
