Can someone please verify that the grab rail diameter on a '96 PS190 (Probably any boat of that year) is 7/8"?

I think that's what I remember it being when I bought my jaw slides. What sizes do you have to choose from?

7/8" or 1"... I am pretty sure it is 7/8" but wanted to be 100% before I ordered them.

Good idea by HB on mounting these jaw clamps to the grab rail instead of drilling into the gel. ;)

Oh, that's it! HB, why are you taking credit for my invention. ;)

I'm almost positive I went with 7/8. If you look for a thread that is called "Don't go Topless SFW," I'll be we can find out for sure.

Beau, I found the thread, but want to find the answer. Funny, I asked this same question.

Okay, Beau, my jaw slides are the 7/8". With the rubber, they fit well, but are a little loose without it.

Here's a link to the thread. Another good reason for the 7/8" over something smaller is that it will give you some room to attach the hook. Mine is a tight squeeze for that as is.

Thanks Doug...
I am going to check some local stores before ordering them. I would like to get this thing finished by the weekend.
