Two days ago I replaced my blower hose as the old hose was full of tears and holes. This simple job puzzled me as there is one connection on the blower yet there are two output tubes on the back of the engine compartment.
Is there supposed to be a "Y" joint for the blower hose or is there a purpose for the second blower exhaust tube?

I think the other is for the "natural" vent. On my boat, there is a set of vents on the outside of the hull near the windshield that vent into the motorbox. I figure that these blow air in that exhausts through the 2nd vent you found in the rear. I am guessing that is why you don't need to run blower above idle, as the forced air vents the motorbox. Just my guesses though, I've never heard confirmation.

For what it's worth - I noticed a good section of my hose in the bilge was collapsed. So - I purchased some rigid dryer vent & installed in it's place. I have great flow now out of the blower.

Ok I had the same question so It looks Like one vent goes to the blower one goes to the "natural vent". Does the natural vent hose just hang there? Or is is supposed to mount somewhere?
