how about someone's face on the side... like hillary clinton!

that'd be funny.

Get some kids who tag walls and such to tag your boat up in street fashions!. Get tired, you can always strip it down and get it redone cheap.

I saw this new X2 that is all yellow with the 2005 X2 (now X1) graphics on it. It's like the "Old School" option for the new X2. I like the look a lot. If I had one that's what I would do. Plain white with those '05 graphics would look sick! :headbang:

@boogieman: that's kinda cool, even though I can't read it

Maybe you could go with a Bayliner theme. Would definately make your boat a sleeper and would also act as a theft deterrent! TB

Sorry about the crude photoshop.

I am stuck on old school stars and stripes, even if it is a wakeboard boat.

many dealers have access to "WRAPS". check with your
local dealer. He can't have him contact his regional rep
about who can make a wrap for you.

The graphics for a boat are limitless when you use a wrap

I think Skeeler needs to design the graphics for the next anniversary edition MC. Maybe he could bring his crew to the unvailing. I might show up for that.

Jim@BAWSJim, do you have any pics of boats with wraps on them?? Are these the same as what I've seen on trucks and vans??

My brother in law owns a company that does wraps. They can print up to 4800dpi 50" wide and unlimited long.

It will last dang near forever, and you can always just remove it and start over.

My next boat will be slate gray on the bottom and top with a white hull side. The X7 graphics will be removed before it even gets wet.

I love that you have a blank slate!

I am kind of liking the idea of a center stripe wrap. It would probably cost you about a grand, but you could use whatever you wanted. The possibilities are endless. Seriously gives me something to think about.

I totally dig the classy plain white or black, but having something temporary is huge. It would feel like a new boat.

The best part of Travis, waterwise, is the Pedernales. Mmm, so glassy.

Seems like a wrap might be a good idea if you were going to leave the boat in the water for an extended period. But then again, it probably doesn't extend below the water line. What's the longevity on something like that. I remember reading about 3 years on a car. I can't imagine that kind of lifespan on a boat though.

Its kind of growing on me... I just don't know why.

Actually, if you were really going to do something single color like that it would be super cheap because it wouldn't be a wrap...it would just be cut vinyl material.

Oh, and as far as how long would it last, I was told over ten years. Don't forget this is the same stuff they use on semi trailers and what you see on public transportation buses.
