We need a third for tomorrow morning. Sorry for the late notice, but our third backed out. PM me and I will check back tonight or be there at 7 am and look for the red X-Star.

How's the wind out at Perris? I've heard it's pretty rough and comes up early. I'm in OC and have been anxious to try Perris but haven't made it.

The lake was awesome. We've been twice. First time the wind picked up at noon, but we were there at 8 so we got 4 hours of good water. Second time there the wind never came. We had glass all day. And if you go on weekdays the place is empty. Its my new favorite lake. Its getting cold now so I don't know how much longer this will last. I'll keep going as long as I can. I may not need to winterize the boat if I can keep using it.

Hey Matter, is that windshield tinted or is it an illusion?

Matt,

What time of day and day of the week was pic taken? It had to be early am and in the middle of the week...Weekends are definitely NOT the time to go to do any kind of serious riding. Its almost not even worth trying to ride!

Awesome pic though!

Ok, Matter I'm sold! There is a good chance I will try Perris next Saturday. That is a nice ride. It's nuts that I've had my boat less than a year and I'm already looking at 2000-2003 XStars.

Hey!! You guys are close enough to drive out to Bakersfield and ski with us. Let me know if you want to join us next ski season. Private lake...93 S&S, lots of hospitality. Betsy
Darn Perris looks cold! Nice h20 though.

Sounds Great! Do you ski year round? Can you share any info on the lake?

We would like to ski year round but the fog makes it so we can't. The lake is near Arvin and Lamont which is just south east of Bakersfield. It is a man-make lake. Great skiing in March through November usually. Sometimes if Feb. is warm we head out too.Since the lake is only 6 feet deep it gets pretty da** cold. We have had ice on occasions too. So, for now the boat is winterized and hibernating. You can keep my e-mail in a skiers file if you want and get back to me. Betsy
