Looking for a good quality ski/wakeboard plyon for the maristar 200 vrs. What is a good one to get, I'll rather spend more and get a good one.

I just ordered the one from Mastercraft that is a retrofit for my 1997 VRS 200. It is the wear guard anotized one. I wanted to make sure it was as close to original that mastercraft had as an option. Mine cost $250. My boat has the brackets in it. I will probably have to go and buy ubolts. I may have to get the brackets driller out a bit.

You can check out flyhigh I think they have a pylon. West marine is another I have been told about.

I'm with Rod... Skylon is the way to go.

I've actually got the extended pylon made by BFI though. It's good too.

Interesting that you got the original ski pylon from MC as my local dealer here in East Tennessee said you could not get them anymore. They also told me that when I tried to get a bimini top.

I talked to Precision marine in Syracuse first and Amanda gave me the part number. I live in outside Louisville and I ordered it from my dealer in Taylorsville. It is the same pylon that is in the new boats inboards. I am not sure about the brackets yet. I will get the pylon on Friday probably. My boat have the l channels already in it. I will have to cut a hole in the floor are where it mounts. I think it is 48 inchs tall 2 1/2 wide.

I was told originally that it was obsolete too. But you have to get them to dig a bit. I can give you the part # when I get mine.

Which one did you get from BFI and how much was it.
Do you like it??
Do you have a bimini?

If you do a search on biminis you will get alot of info. I have read some stuff that is posted and there are several good place to buy. The main thing to consider is if you are going to get a tower added to the boat. You will want to wait if you are going to add a tower.

I believe the BFI site has the flyhi series.
