We're still watching the Admirals going at it for the Calder Cup. Third time in five years, I think. :woohoo:

Hockey RULES! Never played, big fan though. I prefer college over pros. I regularly attend 30+ games a year. Watching a game in the arena is way better than watching on TV. OLN is showing the Stanley Cup Playoffs in HiDef, that's pretty cool.

I'm watching it now.....I wish I was watching the Flyers though.

Awesome game. I'm pulling for Carolina. If I can't have my old school, Id just assume see some new names.

Later

What, how the hell did that happen? They were up 3-0. Those Oilers take choking lessons from the Shames!

The owner of our local major junior hockey team (WHL) Spokane Chiefs ... has promised that if we don't make the playoffs next year he will split 100K between the season ticket holders ... which works out to about $30 a ticketholder ... thanks Bobby Brett (George's younger brother) just put a real team on the ice, I'd prefer better hockey over 6 free beers!

It is about an 11 for me. Die hard Caniac. We have gone to a bunch of games this year and I am awaiting confirmation from a vendor for free tix in one of the suites for either game 2 or 5.

I am predicting Carolina will win it in 5 !!!

It is actually starting to effect how much time I spend on the MC, I may need to see a doctor.

Hockey is normally a 10 for me, but with the Leafs out, I haven't watched a game.

It is amazing how little news about Milwaukee we get up here in Minocqua. I had no idea the Admirals were doing as well as they are.......and I watch the news every night.

Playoff hockey is awesome and for those of you that do not watch it you are missing out. I only caught the last 10 minutes of the game last night and it was awesome! Gotta feel bad for the Edmonton Oilers backup goalie.......damn the bad luck

I saw some of that game last night. Thought Edmonton had it wrapped up at 3-0. Couldn't believe it when it was 4-4. Then I about cried on that last goal. Looked like a bad play from pee-wee league. When I heard Rolie the Goalie went down for the rest of the playoffs, I lost faith in Edmonton. He was our goalie, and for some reson never could really get it going here. Was glad to see him succeed in Edmonton. I'm sure both Ed. goalies are shaking their heads. Maybe they'll keep it interesting. I'll be watching.

10 for me. Glad to see that I am not the only one who calls them the whalers. Use to have season tickets back in the day. Now I can not root for carolina

Disclosure: long time, long suffering Leafs season ticket holder.

I was pulling for Edmonton last night (insert audible sigh here). While watching the start of the game with my 6 year old son (who btw can skate like the wind), he says,

"hmm, who should I cheer for?", "oil is boring, but houses getting sucked up...that's cool !"

So Hurricanes all the way !
