I have an '06 X-30 with 7 hours

a few questions:

I haven't tried wakesurfing with this one yet and wondered if full ballasts with a couple of adults is enough weight or will I need the fat sacks?

Does anyone know how much weight each full ballast adds?

Does anyone use the trim tab to modify the wake?

I traded an '02 Malibu LSV. Any advice for a new Mastercraft owner?

Thanks!

Welcome!
You have found a great place here at TT!
A wealth of info. here and a great group of people to top it off.
Oh yes, one other thing, the best watersports boats in the world and a great company to back it up. ;)

First off, welcome and congrats on the purchase, you will love it.
As far as surfing behind that, you will want the ballast full on the side you intend to surf and the middle tank full (possibly just half). Make sure the trim tab is up all the way and go surfing. You should not need any additional weight, but more is always welcome to make it better.
Have fun.

According to the 06 MC Brochure, the total ballast for your boat is 700lbs. Hope this helps.

This is a 195 with no ballast except for a bunch of kids...
