In this earlier thread http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=864 skiboy recommended to install a block heater. I think this is a great idea especially after my session this morning that started at 32 F with frost on the cover. I am just not sure where to source a heater compatible with my 350 TBI block. Some thing tells me a trip to the Chevy dealer would be futile.

Thanks in advance, Jamie

Go to your local tractor supply store & get 1 or 2 magnetic block heaters.

They'll probably do as good of a job & you take take them off when not in use.

In VT, it shouldn't be futile - in Florida, it might be.. NAPA should have them, too.. if they don't know, have 'em call one of their stores in Western Canada... I think even our grocery stores carry them..Every engine has a block heater..
