I have seen a lot of people on the board say they don't understand wanting a closed bow. Those of us who do often talk about the storage space. While I was removing my heater core for repair, I decided to take a picture so everyone knows how much storage there really is.

You will see I have the MTS ballast balancing system and 1 amp, but still room for nearly anything and anybody. My son (Gage) is about 4'4", but I'm 6', and I can stretch out in the same place he is.
FWIW.

I agree. My wife & I were very seriously considering selling our 190 last year to get a 205. But, after thinking hard about all the storage we have, we decided to stick with the closed bow.

Agreed, nothing like getting all your stuff tucked up and away out of sight, i also like it because most of the time if someone is going to swipe your stuff its going to be the stuff that is readily visable and accessable, no one is going to risk climbing into the boat and opening the bow (assuming they know it opens) just to see if you have anything worth taking.

yea, does it need to be modified to store stuff up there? like does the seat not just lift up? Or do you need to put it through the drivers footwell, which would be annoying.
