I have a Shoremaster boat lift that is about 7-8 years old and is in good condition and works great.
This is the lift.
http://www.shoremaster.com/lifts/standing/vert/main.html

I think it is 3,000 lb capacity.

My question is: What $ do you think I should ask for it?
I was thinking $1,200-$1,500 but would appreciate some feedback.
I don't think it will take very long to sell, plenty of new slips to fill on the lake.

Steve,

Why are you selling it? Shoot me a PM when you decide on the price, I might be in the market for one if it will hold a PS197.
Thanks.

I bought a used shoremaster cantilever lift 3600# capacity for $1600 plus $200 for the electric winch. Look at craigslist.org to get an idea of what used lifts go for. Sounds like you are in the ball park.

I think they have one (similar) over by us for 1500.00, and its been there for over a year now. Not sure if that helps.....

Bouy,

Nope, that lift would be going to Stillwater (the small private lake just down the road from Milton, Berlin and West Branch). I am there every morning, and this way I won't have to drive my gas hog to drop it in and out.
Coming to town soon...let's ski!

didn't think there was room for lifts, last time i skied stillwater...i'd do the lake milton cruise by, all kinds of damaged lifts due to high water last couple of years...look for an abandoned Hewitt, D&J does the installs there...easy to get replacement parts...i can even help you if it is UPS shipable...for your 197 go with at least the 3000lb Hewitt Cantilever or larger because she's a heavy beast with crew and gas and gear...powered winch is an easy add-on...

hopefully get back home in June, we'll see how things pan out...parents certainly are getting anxious...tough to leave the private ski lake in my backyard, so with your daily early morning sets will certainly take you up on those!!!

Thanks for your input guys, sold it for $1,200. I thought that was a good deal for a 2,500 lb lift in good condition.
