Tune up time. Need to get new HEI plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, and a fuel filter for my 2000 Prostar 195 with the 310HP Chevy/Indmar 350. Looking for recommendations on part numbers, brands, and websites

And another marine head scratcher: Are marine ignition wires any different than automotive ignition wires?

Wires for the plugs are the same, you can get them at the auto parts store. When you change them, do it one at a time, and make sure that they go back on the the same way they came off.

Get the Borg-Warner cap and rotor kit. They have a Gold series at Checker/Schucks/Kragen and it comes with a 5 year warranty. Use AC MR-43LTS plugs, Delco wires are fine or you can stick with the Taylor wires, like the original. The secondary gas filter number should be on the outside (may be GF-626). If yo have room, the PF-1218 oil filter is what I use on my truck. More filter surface area and good anti-siphon characteristics.

Why do you need websites?
