I just picked up a new 2004 209. Can someone please tell me where the poles are suppose to sit, as well as, where do the nylon straps attach to on the boat?

the pole with the 2 white straps sits in the open -bow...the white straps go round the grab-rails.....the next pole in line stands next to the ski-pylon ,,the next pole stands aft of the engine-box and is secured by 2 black straps fastened to 2 clips underneath the rear seat(where you would secure the rear-seat,when it is in the sun-pad position).....the rear tie down straps on the cover go thru the starboard and port lifting hooks.....once these are secure ,and the ones around my tower,i the ratchet the rear tight.......i hope i have answered the correct question.... :uglyhamme

My set-up only has 2 poles and really did not seem to fit properly. Is it possible I got the wrong set-up?

I was suprised that the cover doesn't have cutouts for cleats, as it was difficult to get it tight while having docking lines running underneath the cover. Easy fix for the dealer to put some cleat cutouts in the cover? Thanks.

a shop that does canvas and interior work on boats is where you want to go for that sort of modification, or add drop away cleats.
