Thanks for the requests to get the pictures up. Of course it would start raining at 6 in the evening since I had been waxing, cleaning, etc. since 6 in the morning.

Throw some in the thread. If it's raining there, I suppose it's raining here, too.

Amazing what the wife and a couple magic erasers can do... Although there are a few skins that are going to have to be replaced. Observer seat base and back bench. Thanks for the compliments! :steering:

I took the Magic Eraser and some Fantastic to mine last week and it made an incredible difference. I've got spare skins in a box upstairs. As good as I was able to get mine looking, I'm going to leave the new ones in the box for a little longer. Thumbs up to Magic Eraser.

this may sound anal but eastie, if it were me and I was going to hold onto the skins for awhile, I'd keep them in climate control just for grins(since they aren't fitted to the seats and will be in heat etc..)

i just bought my 92 prostar 205 three weeks ago for $11500. how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? I'm just trying to see if I got somewhat of a good deal (not to mention I'm paying another $1000 to get the transmission fixed...see my post "I need some help..."). It's got a monster tower, two monster racks, kicker speakers on the tower, two 500lbs fat sacs, the interior just redone, and about 800 hours. I'm pretty upset about the whole tranny going out seeing that I only had it out on the water 1 hour after I bought it but I have been looking around at other similar mc's and they were going for $13-15k w/o a tower and the stuff I got with mine. Thanks for any input.

IMO, you got a very good deal even if you spend another $1,0000 on the transmission.

Hard to say without seeing pics of your boat and trailer but it sure sounds like you got a deal
what did your buddy say about splitting the repair costs?

13.5k with 411 hours. My brother in law told me from the get go that if I found a 205 pay just about what ever they wanted. Excellent size for friends family etc. but the important part, the wake and lack of it were great. He picked up an 87 190 with only 350 hrs in excellent cond. and is extremely jealous now. So we now have 2 MC's in the family. Although I really want his tandem trailer...

Great Pics, the interior looks great.
I have a 1992 205 Pro Sport, I paid 9800, but it's in rough shape on the inside. The hull is great, the trailer is ugly, and the skins are rough. I've had to fix the tranny, replace the exhaust, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel pump, and am currently having the starter rebuilt. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow along with a new solenoid...all that said, I love that dogone boat.
I have 5 kids, and we fit great in the 205.
I'm hoping that everything comes together this weekend when i reinstall the starter and solenoid. The solenoid (on the back of the engine), was a tough remove.

nice looking boat!!

Here's a question I have a 94 prostar 205, with a tandem axle trailer. It seems some 205's came with a single axle trailer as well.Any idea's why the different combination?

thanks

Without much knowledge I would assume that it was an option. Best thing I can come up with.

Ric, could that be because it's the only MC direct drive he stocks?
