Anyone heard anything on a new model late this summer that is a replacement for the 209? I am hearing a ski wake like the old 205's ... 1993 - 1995 vintage. Of course I could just be wishing and hoping.

BBB, do you have a link to any source of this rumor? Pretty interesting stuff.

Somewhat true...the new for 2007 209 is under development, but it would be premature to say anything about the boat since we don't have a running bottom...yet. As a point of interest any wake we make will be patterned off the current PS190/197.

Now you're talking! Excellent. Knowing nothing, I predict great things for this new boat (which may or may not exist). :)

and to think that I said I'd never trade the 197

You want a boat along the lines of a 92--95 205, Ric. I'll give you a good trade and let you keep the tower. ;)

This is great to hear ... thanks everyone for the replies. I found out this through a dealer rep that I was talking to about the 209 and expressing my dissapointments with the ski wake.

Aw just keep your new boat then. It's depreciating while you're at work. :)

I would have loved to get a 209, but we have a 20' 9" length limit on my lake....so....

I hope, for what its worth, that they make it a little shorter than the current 209 so more of us on lakes that only want "tournament" boats can get into a larger more family friendly ride.

I hope they don't make it shorter by giving it a pickle fork.

That's okay, while I'm at work, the gas in my carb isn't getting any fresher either. :o

I just want the wake to be good ... anyone remember "Fanatics with Families"? Just take the 197, add 15" and call it a day.
