My thought exactly. I'm wondering if it got dunked in salt water at some point in time.

I emailed the seller to get some pics of the trailer, I'll post when they come through.

Did I miss something? I didn't read anything that said it had the LT1 in it. Did you call about this one Jim?

If it's a 93 and injected, it's an LT1. What's 67 19 or whatever?

New trailers are kinda pricey these days, but if the motor is in decent shape, might not be a bad deal for somebody.

So it has the LT1, do most really need this?
Especially with gas prices now.
Buy a trailer, now it's 14k?

Let's just assume that it wasn't in salt. Boat is on a private lake for many years and they only put 187 hours on it. It says that the oil and stuff was changed, but doesn't say regularly or every year like you know everyone on here would if they sold their boat, right? My guess is that trailer sat out for many years while the boat was on the lift and suffered from a bit of neglect.

So they perhaps neglected the trailer. Did they neglect the boat? From the interior, I don't think that they did, but I'd like to see a picture of the engine just for grins.

Steve, you could be right. However, I'd say it's not uncommon. Here in my community, 75% of the houses are waterfront. People park their trailers in dirt storage fields, and they may not even see them for years. We have local mechanics who will service the boats right on the lift. I even know folks who borrow others' trailers for maintenance because their own trailer has been left neglected so long that it's not worth the time and money to drag it out of storage for a two day service call. Well I guess when you think about it, 14k after you buy a trailer might be a good deal if it checks out ok.

Man, $10,000 for (arguably) one of the best ski boat hulls with 'vette power? If I had the time & resources, I'd jump on it. Hope it goes to a good home.

Kevin, you should've been here for the 93 S&S with the LT1 and powerslot that was on ebay in AZ in February. I was very tempted, but the motor looked a bit questionable.

No reserve. No bids. $10K starting bid.

I think I remember that one also. If I ever get serious about looking, it's good to know that the deals are out there, if I'm patient. So much easier with this whole inter-thingy!

Drove :steering: straight through from Creston BC Canada to Indio. Took him 25.5 hours. Boat is in excellent shape and there was nothing wrong with the trailer, needed new tires (towed it back to Canada with the boat on it). I haven't seen it yet other than the pictures but I know that he won't buy junk. Looking forward to seeing the difference in the power from my 351 to the LT-1.
