Dont know how many of you guys are cigar smokers but I have to recomend (sp?) one to those that are.

La Fontana Vintage Galileo.

Very smooth and mild-medium. and fairly cheap.

Butera cigars, IMHO. (http://store.pipesandcigars.com/buteracigars.html) . I prefer the Bravo Corto. It's a milder cigar with a lot of flavor.

Actually this is my favorite. I buy them from a local supplier, not the website. I just used their link.

I like the La Fantana for a lower priced "everyday" smoke

Yeah, Special occasion only. There will be one at MMII

Thats why I also like the La Fantana. Cheaper. They are about 2.00 each. Great for mowing the yard, ect.

I really like Macanudo's. Mid priced at about 9 bucks each. Very tasty!

Jeremy,

I am probably being anal, but my experience (bad one I might say) leads me to advise you not to post any incriminating evidence ;)

You probably know the deal with Cuban imports. BTW, the Cohibas are great!

My brother-in-law loves the Opus X's (I think they're a waste of money). My favorite is a cuban - PSD4. Non-cuban is probably an Ashton VSG Torpedo.

Was in Costa Rica mid April (spring break with the family) and there was a young lady rolling cigars in the lobby of the hotel (Los Suenos Marriott). Used Dominican Republic filler with Cuban wrapper..., bought & smoked several of them while we were there, $8 each, robusto, nice easy draw, mild to medium taste, can see me now, sitting on the beach at sunset drinking a local beer, smoking that cigar, and watching for the green flash....

Wish I was still there.

Bought some $5 variety at the liquor store a few minutes ago. I'll have to figure out what they are called and post if they taste good!

Had a Honduras Special last night. Not bad.......Like Macanudos better. However for a few bucks cheaper than a Mac, the Honduras was pretty good.

Wow, I love Texas at this time of year. It's about 63 degrees outside. I just sat outside and enjoyed a Macanudo Maduro that my brother in law gave me for my birthday(11-6-Thanks, no one gave me a shout out). He gave me one of those 6 cigar samplers...I wouldn't have bought it, but I'll smoke them. The best part was the nice glass of VSOP that went with it! Now I can sit inside and do some serious damage to the bottle while watching the Man Show!

Typically buy Ashton's. Has anyone ever ordered from Thompson Cigar Co or the others that advertise in the backs of magazines...typically $20-25 for the humidor and a 10-20 cigar variety pack as an introductory offer.
