I know there are a few of you out here. We are looking for the spots to avoid the "traffic" and learn to ski, and make some new friends. Yes I am sure we have gone about this backwards buying the boat then learning all we can. But why not dive in head first?
Thanks!

Live in Tyler. Ski in Tyler some, but mostly on and around Caddo (LA border).

Yup. I'm a Houston transplant. But we've got relatives all over the eastern block.

sanjuan, Have you tried lake murray in southern oklahoma. It is just south of Ardmore and is a very clear lake. Everytime I go there I see a few mc's out there.

I was there too. Grad of 12/90. I'm just north of Dallas. Let me know if you need a pull or just want to tag along.

You may want to try the Brazos River at Tin Top just south of Weatherford.

Took out the in-laws @ Hamm Creek on the Brazos last weekend. It has been a while since I have been on the river west of Weatherford. Thanks for the suggestions.
