Well I'm not tearing up the course like BrianM, but I'll bet I'm not the only one that has some slalom footage of himself. So this is the thread where you can post links to your own personal ski footage. I used Google Video.

And yes, I know my form isn't great. But I enjoy watching this stuff.

This is a sunset river run from June 2005. Boat's running 32 mph.

Here is some video of my wife and me skiing in Florida. She is the right foot forward skier and I am left foot forward. http://personalpages.tds.net/~wakesport/Florida_d.WMV

To see how we have improved here is me 2 years ago

Very nice ETS and that was one long run. I would have bailed out (e.g., crashed and burned, yard-sale, etc..) after the 8th cut or so across the wake and wouldn't be refreshed again until several hours later or the next day. ;)

Mine should play with quicktime or WMP 10. It's an mp4.

Yeah, that part of the river usually has the best water. Even more so at 6:45 pm on a Wednesday evening. We call that run "Deliverance" because of the scetchy shack with the rotweilers (sp) where we start.

Eastie since you were brave enough to post I'll support you. Been a while since I've played around with video but found a short clip on my hard drive. I envy the wake you DD guys have...Trinity River (http://media.putfile.com/Trinity-River-20)

you should get a slalom line and take about 32 off it looks like you'd have a pretty sweet slalom wake and would only have to deal with the prop wash

Nice skiing and video. Did you handhold the video camera or are you using a pylon mount?

east tx skier

That's handheld. We have the pylon mount for when my camera lady isn't available.

Eastie, you indicated your file is an MP4, do you know how much space it takes up? My short little clip is an MP4 as well and is 11 megs, and you only get 25 on the site, so I need to figure out how to save as a smaller file and repost. I guess I could go down on the quality a bit.

Nice video Eastie, what speed were you skiing at there??

That looks like about how I ski, except I end differently.....usually pushi it too far and go @$$ over elbow a few times.... :o I dont have digital video cam, just an old 8mm job. But I at least got to film myself last summer alot to pick apart my skiing. Its a great tool to improve. I look forward to getting some video this summer. Nice skiing and great job on that video!!!! :headbang:

It's about 16 mb. I ripped it with Nero and was able to adjust it to whatever size I wanted.

UMP, that's approximately 32.3 mph.

No laughing now  - click here (http://thewindsurfer.com/files/media/1790.full.P1010004%20-%20clean%20pass%20one_300k.wmv) to see one from two summers ago (pre-MasterCraft) on a friend's OB. Clean pass (15 off at ~25 mph :o ) but I was happy with it at the time. We turned around and I got a second one at ~26 mph. Have picked up a new-to-us boat, have been increasing speed, and trying to limprove technique since then. It's all good. :)

Whitey was great! I don't hold it against him that I was wearing a pair of his old jumpers when I took my crash!

Nice videos, all.

We bought a VHS-C adaptor yesterday so we could watch the tape we found labeled "Water Ski '87" Lots of fun for me to watch, but it's tough to figure out who it was skiing. Camera predated autofocus, too, but the operator did a fair job. I may get bored one day and upload it.

We shot some video on Father's Day. Some cuts were better than the others and watching it, as usual, I've got a lot to work on. But that water sure was smooth. This is my second and third haul down the river at just under 4 miles each. A little fatiqued by the end of it all.

Oh, and for whoever wanted a picture of the MC board shorts, there they are.

Probably can't give an exact answer. That's behind my father-in-law's 98 205 (no perfect pass). 32ish?
