Replaced my impeller due to running motor w/ no water for about a minute. No damage done to old impeller. Pulling the impeller was no fun on a MCX in a X-10. Impeller puller is useless in this boat. Had to use the Locking Needle Nose & Bump the Engine a few times to get it out. New Impeller from SKIDIM went right in. I will use the old one as a back up. What a pain in the a@#$!

Kalanic, I have a BF200 and want to put my 12 inch sub in it somewhere. If I use a bandpass box like you used and put it under the rear sundeck do you believe it will sound good. I see where you mounted yours and was curious as to how hard it hits. I was going to mount the sub up by the drivers area but I would rather not cut a large hole up front for the sub. Let me know how it sounds and if its worth the money to get that box and install it back there. Keep in mind that the rest of the system consists of four interior speakers. No tower speakers or anything of that nature.

The sound is good! The bass echos through the boat. Im pushing 150watts RMS to each 10" sub. They are pounding. The compartments are very well insulated, more than an auto trunk, so you do loose some of the bass back there. When anchored or docked, I can open the sundeck & release the fury! I may go to a bigger box next year. I will see how this year goes. I like the subs back there though! Plenty of space for my cooler & anything else!

It should as long as you have a good amp pushing it!

Kalanic -

Nice looking install. Do you ever get water back there from the bilge? On my X30, I get water back there all the time. I am moving my single bilge pump to the middle of the boat, so I hope that helps.

Anyway, great job!!!

Are talking about back where the Sub Boxes are?

Yes, that area on my boat is constantly wet. My bilge pump is behind the engine on the driver's side of the boat. A horrible place for it. The bilge has to be filled with about 4 inches of water for the thing to turn on.

Haven't noticed much water back there. The boxes are made of plexi-glass. Shouldn't get damaged I hope. Thanks for the heads up!

Looks good! I bought my bow filler cushion from the dealer when I bought my boat. I think it was $250 or something.
