Great idea, Tim. Thanks TTAdmin. Mark, if you don't get OLN, I, for one, would highly recommend a dish. I've been cable free for five years now and couldn't be happier.

I have been kicking the dish idea around for a while. Iíve been a little reluctant for a few reasons. The most important is the relatively remote location that my neighbors and I watch the football games in the winter. (about 100í from the house at the picnic area in the woods).

Mark;

and you have cable out in the remote woods? There are solutions for sat out there also.

I know Leroy, Iím just a little lazy I guess. I already have to carry the TV the cooler and the hot sausage down to the picnic area. Iím thinking that would be one more thing??

Dude, work smarter not harder. Just do a microwave shot from your house down to the picnic area. Come on now, what the heck are you thinking? :D I'll tell ya...

Ok, I get it. Your telling me to beam the hot sausage down to the party, (game):uglyhamme

Rig up a rope on two wheels like the rope tows and real easy to carry back and forth. You don't have a riding lawn mower and wagon.

Easiest would be just have 100' of cable and connect to back of sat receiver and run out to your viewing area.

Seems like we razed you on watching football in the woods last year...the boyz place in the woods.

Mark, once the signal's picked up by the dish, getting it to the tv is the same (cable to a receiver cable to a tv. For about $100 retail (or less on ebay) you can get a little transmitter that will shoot the signal to your campsite, or just run some cable out there.
