View Full Version : Boat lift

Just bought a 2002 X9 and I'm trying to find a used lift for it. The weight on the 2006 X9 is 3,060 lbs. I assume the weight of a 2002 is in the same ballpark. Anyone using a 3,000 lb. lift, or do I need to go up to a 4,000?

Don't skimp on the lift. You will have a lot more than 3000 lbs on the lift (gas, ballast, people, etc.). And it's not fun with these things fall over or collapse fully loaded.
I have a 205 & have had it on a 4000 lb Nyman & a Jetdock a number of times without a problem.

Thanks. I figured I should go up to a 4,000.

drain your ballast before you lift anyway.

I am using a 3000lbs lift. upgrade the pulley system is all you have to do with the hewitt lift. working no problem. same lift. different pulley system is all.
