Took the boat out tonight for a cruise. She fired right up thanks to Erk!

I couldn't get anything to happen and then started fumbling around the motor box only to find the local MC dealer had disconnected the negative battery terminal from the block   I was uncertain where it went so I called Erk and he so quickly helped out. Thanks bud!

Anyway, the water was nice, I tried out my barefoot suit for warmth but I think I would have been just fine without any neoprene. I skied on my old HO Mach 1 since I am waiting on my new stick. Wow! Me not likey that ski anymore

Overall good times on the water. I think I need a new cap and rotor, at times it ran a little rough, can't help think this might be the culprit.

Not bad. Wife wasn't real happy about it but peroxide when we got home and no big deal. Back really isn't bothering me much at all. Surgeons did a nice job piecing me back together .

Did you play golf today?

Footin

No golf today, i'm kinda sore for all the swings yesterday!

I did get the boat vacuumed today and started to load all the stuff in it.

Cool. Mine was a mad dash to get on the water. Had planned to go out around 6pm, didnt hit the water til after 7pm

The wife has lots of chores (outside stuff) for me tomorrow. Think I'll knock those out in the morning and then when it heats up, I'll wax the boat in the garage. :toast:

TRU DAT!! :headbang: She needs a nice spring waxing to make her feel good so she'll run like a champ all season.

Oh, why I am at it tommorrow think I make a note to hook back up the speedo tubes. Forgot to put those back on before going out tonight

What can I say, but what a wonderful day! Clear skies, 86 degrees and we rode her hard, but didn't put her up wet. There is nothing like the first time out for the season. Could have done without all the pollen, the water was yellow with it and wiped the boat and trailer down at the ramp and 7 miles to home it was covered again, but that's OK she's in the basement now for a well deserved rest. Its suppose to be in the low 60's after tomorrow, so be it!

we went out yesterday too, a quick replacement of the fuel filters and we were good to go.

kids boarded, I forgot binding slime so I just drove and enjoyed to sunny weather

also got to see if our new dog is a keeper or not, luckily he got along very well with the boat!

hey jrandol...good to see you got out...Tuesday I went out with a full wetsuit, Wednesday half wetsuit and friday I said screw it, no wetsuit...but then Saturday I skied the river and the temp was 63 compared to 68 at the lake so I went back to a half wetsuit, 3/2 material...

The air is cold today so I think I'll go back to full unless the sun comes out by noon...Our lake should be 70 by today...its only 8-12' deep throughout...

where did you ski this weekend?

SteveO

Sounds like fun jrandol. One more reason to move to TX. Got out with no wetsuit Saturday. Truth be told, I kinda wished I had my shorty that was lost last fall.

Have you signed up for our tournament over Memorial weekend?

We played MYSC Yahara White Premier from WI in Memphis 3/25.

That was us. I believe you won 2 - 1. We have State Cup that weekend. Are you playing this weekend in Rockford? Our blue team plays Carmel at 3 on Saturday.

Would have been great to meet you in Memphis! We were disappointed to not make it to the finals in Memphis, we lost in semi after double OT, 4-5 in the shootout. It hit the inside of the post and just missed going in....we were happy when we were half way home realizing the finals was just finishing up!

No, that will be our P1 team in Rockford I'm sure, we are the P2 team. You guys were state champions last year right? We should do a few more tournaments like that for our rankings, but this weekend more league games and then next weekend Louisville Cup.
